Charles’ story is an inspiration to us all
A retired highly respected urologist, Dr Charles Roe was born on Valentine’s Day in 1919. During World War II he was a RAAF medical officer in 76 Squadron in the Trobriand Islands off New Guinea. Seventy years on and 2000 kilometres to the south, absolute peace reigns on South Stradbroke island. RDNS HomeCare assistance helps him to stay on this island which his family has called home for 122 years.
